Sound Healing with Himalayan Healing Bowls, Tuning Forks, and Healing Voice

Himalayan Healing Bowls

Bowls have been used in the Himalayas for thousands of years.  Their tonal properties soothe the mind and restore the body.  Let Marc Mori take you on a journey towards a healing session or a Himalayan Healing Bowl certification!

You will also learn about the background of the bowls, and why they are often referred to as “Tibetan Singing Bowls” when they are made most often in Nepal and India.  You will learn subtle and effective techniques of striking and rubbing the bowls.  We will cover the use of the tingsha (Buddhist cymbals) to supplement your practice.  Room clearing techniques, setting intentions, post treatment considerations, and dealing with client concerns will also be addressed.  You will learn sound bath sequences and the placement of the bowls. We will also cover where and how to place bowls on the body. Before leaving the weekend training, you will have had hands-on practice and demonstrated your understanding by conducting a complete session.

Bowls and Water

Sound bowls emit energy in the form sound waves. Sound waves travel four times faster in water. Our bodies are electromagnetic in nature and the body is composed mainly of water, making the body uniquely sensitive to energy, including acoustics. Think of the body as a large liquid crystal form - and we know that liquid crystal panels in our televisions and computer change colors depending on the electromagnetic charge placed through them. Our bodies also change when electromagnetic energy is run through us. When trauma occurs, the electromagnetic energy in our bodies is disturbed and it can take time to heal and reset. The energy from healing bowls helps restore imbalances in our bodies through resonance, entrainment, and vibration.
